Konomic + Google Drive
Automatically process PDFs when they're uploaded to Drive. OCR scanned documents, compress large files, merge batches — all triggered by Drive events.
Google Drive is where most teams store their PDFs. Konomic + Google Drive lets you automate the most common processing tasks: when a new PDF appears in a specific folder, it's automatically OCR-ed, compressed, or processed in whatever way you need.

Auto-OCR for scanned uploads
- Trigger: New file in Drive folder "Scanned Documents"
- Action: Konomic runs OCR (auto-detects language)
- Action: Replace original with OCRed version
- Action: Send Slack notification to team channel
Result: every scan in the folder becomes searchable automatically.

Auto-compress large PDFs
- Trigger: New file over 10 MB in Drive
- Action: Konomic compresses at Recommended quality
- Action: Save compressed version in the same folder
- Action: Move original to "Archive" folder
Result: team members always see optimized versions, originals are archived for legal record.

Monthly invoice merging
- Trigger: 1st of each month (schedule)
- Action: Collect all PDFs from "Invoices/{month}" Drive folder
- Action: Konomic merges into single "Invoices-{month}.pdf"

Drive → Sign Request → Drive
- Trigger: New PDF in Drive folder "To Sign"
- Action: Konomic Sign Request sends to configured recipient
- Webhook: When signed, signed PDF is saved to "Signed" folder in Drive

Setup via Zapier
- Create a Konomic Business account and get your API key
- In Zapier, create a new Zap
- Choose "Google Drive — New File in Folder" as the trigger
- Select your Drive folder
- Add Konomic as the action app, choose the operation (OCR, compress, etc.)
- Map the file from Drive to the Konomic action input
- Add a final Google Drive step to save the result back
- Turn on the Zap — it now runs automatically on every new file
