Konomic + Slack

Process PDFs directly from Slack messages. Get notifications when documents are signed, compress attachments, OCR scans — all without leaving your workspace.

Sign Request notifications

  1. Konomic webhook fires when a Sign Request is signed, viewed, or declined
  2. Zap/Make forwards to your Slack #sales or #contracts channel
  3. Message includes signer name, document name, timestamp, and link to signed PDF

Your team sees every contract signature in real time without opening Konomic.

WORKFLOW #2

PDF attachment → auto-compress

  1. Trigger: PDF file uploaded to Slack channel
  2. Action: If over 10 MB, Konomic compresses automatically
  3. Action: Compressed version posted back to the thread
  4. Action: Original file archived to Drive
WORKFLOW #3

Daily contract digest

  1. Schedule: Run daily at 9 AM
  2. Action: Query Konomic for all Sign Requests from the past 24 hours
  3. Action: Format status summary (sent, viewed, signed, declined)
  4. Action: Post to #sales-ops Slack channel

Scan → Slack

  1. Someone drops a scanned PDF in a channel
  2. Slack bot reacts with 👀 emoji to confirm receipt
  3. Konomic runs OCR on the attachment
  4. Bot replies in thread with extracted text (or file link if too long)

Makes it easy to search old scans later via Slack's full-text search.

Setup via Zapier

  1. In Konomic dashboard, create a webhook endpoint for Sign Request events
  2. Point it to a Zapier webhook URL
  3. In Zapier, add a Slack action: "Send Channel Message"
  4. Format the webhook payload into a readable message using Zapier's formatter
  5. Choose your Slack channel and turn on the Zap
