Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with Konomic. If for any reason you're not, here's how refunds work.

7-day no-questions-asked refund

Within 7 days of your initial purchase, we offer a full refund — no questions asked, no forms to fill, no justification needed. Just email hello@konomic.iowith your account email and we'll process the refund within 5 business days.

This applies to your first ever subscription to Konomic. If you cancel and resubscribe later, the 7-day window does not reset for subsequent purchases.

After 7 days

Refunds for subscriptions older than 7 days are at our discretion. Common cases where we'll grant a refund:

  • Service was unavailable for an extended period (over 24 hours)
  • A critical bug prevented you from using the features you paid for
  • You were billed for a renewal and didn't intend to continue (within 14 days of renewal)
  • Duplicate charges

Cases where we typically don't grant refunds:

  • You forgot to cancel and a renewal went through (more than 14 days ago)
  • You used the service heavily during the billing period
  • You changed your mind months after subscribing
  • You violated the Terms of Service

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the dashboard:

  1. Sign in to your Konomic account
  2. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Manage Subscription
  3. Click "Cancel Subscription" in the Stripe Customer Portal

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to all paid features until then. We don't refund the unused portion of the period.

Yearly plan refunds

For yearly subscriptions, the 7-day refund window applies the same way. After 7 days, we may offer a prorated refund (full months remaining minus a small administrative fee) at our discretion. Email us to discuss.

Free tier

The free tier doesn't involve any payment, so there's nothing to refund. If you upgraded by mistake, the 7-day rule applies — just email us.

Chargebacks

If you have a billing issue, please contact us first at hello@konomic.iobefore filing a chargeback. Chargebacks are expensive and disruptive — we'd rather just refund you directly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in account termination and forfeit of unpaid commissions (for affiliates).

EU consumer rights

EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU. By subscribing to a digital service, you consent to immediate access and waive this right. However, our 7-day no-questions-asked refund is more generous and stands regardless.

How long refunds take

Once approved, refunds are processed by Stripe within 5 business days. The actual time for funds to appear in your account depends on your bank — typically 5-10 business days for credit cards, 1-3 days for debit. We'll send you an email confirmation when the refund is processed.
